We've built a powerful reputation for insurance underwriting at Travelers. Through the internationally renowned Lloyd's insurance market we operate a number of specialist business classes to meet the varied demands of brokers and their clients. Our specialist claims team is dedicated to providing policyholders worldwide with the highest quality claims service.
Due to expansion, we're looking for an experienced professional to handle claims in our expanding Marine business. You will become part of a small dedicated team, working with, and directing, other professionals in the vessel management, repair, chartering, cargo handling and logistics field. You will be expected to carry a significant workload and deputise for the Marine Claims Manager.
As well as a solid grounding in insurance matters, you’ll need experience of working within a Marine or Logistics claims environment. A sound working knowledge of Incoterms, Time & Voyage Charterparties and P&I rules and their application is also essential, along with sound analytical and leadership skills. If you are not already ACII qualified, you’ll need to be willing to study towards it.
